Subject: Ashton PAC 2 - Thursday 31 May - Singleton Civic Centre - 9am

Hello All,

We need as many people as possible to attend the second Planning Assessment Meeting for the Ashton Open Cut.
On this coming Thursday 31 May at Singleton Civic Centre from 9am.

Why is this PAC happening? Because Dept Planning managed to get the decision opened up again through a deal in the Land and Environment Court.

Wendy Bowman will stop this mine by not selling her land - but she needs as much public support as possible to give strength to her position and recognition of her brave stand.

If you have received a notice about this and want to give a presentation on Thursday, there are a number of different issues you can raise.
Please contact me if you would like some advice on this.

Requests to present need to be made by 4pm tomorrow - Mon 28 May - ring 9383 2112.

Please come along to add to the audience numbers. Let me know if you can attend.

We will be using this as a media opportunity to highlight the collusion of Planning NSW and the mining industry and the need for an Independent Hunter Region Water Study.

Please pass this notice onto your networks.
